Background
As of January 1, 2004 a new Privacy Act came into place. The Federal Privacy Act – Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), dictates that we must have consent of our customers that will allow Kemp Travel to retain personal and travel information on file and use the next time that customer travels. In addition, Kemp Travel must obtain customers’ permission to send travel news, updates, customer evenings, specials and any form of promotional materials related to customers’ travel preferences.

Kemp Travel understands the importance of maintaining the privacy of our customers. From time to time we will ask to collect information about customers that allows us to process travel requests more efficiently. Our aim is to provide customers with an excellent travel experience. Any information that we may obtain stays at Kemp Travel. It is used to offer travel specials to our customers and to communicate with customers quickly and efficiently. Nothing is sold, bartered, or given to other companies or persons without the customer’s permission.
Our Website Services Our Website has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. All information is for our administration purposes only. Only authorized employees of Kemp Travel will have access to this information.
Kemp Travel strives to give you the best customer service. Customers are automatically placed on our mailing list when they choose to register with us. From time to time we may contact registered customers with travel specials. If a customer prefers not to receive this information and wishes to opt-out from our mailing list, they will be asked to simply send us an email to info@kemptravel.ca and put remove in the subject line. We will use all reasonable efforts to protect customers’ anonymity.

The Kemp Travel Privacy Policy applies to all of our operations, including our Web-based interactive services. It governs data collection, usage and services. This privacy policy discloses how we collect, protect, use and share information gathered about the customer.
