​Lorie has been in the travel industry for 30 years . She started out in wholesale  with Trafalgar Tours so she is familiar with both sides of the industry. When she moved to Whitby in 1984 she joined Wesley’s World of Travel as a travel agent and then joined Kemp Travel Group in 2003. She loved travelling as a youth and decided it was her calling and obviously it was a good choice because years later she is still enjoying her work and her clients. 

Over the years Lorie has traveled and expanded her knowledge of the world. She has taken courses to become a specialist in many aspects of travel. The South Pacific was always on Lorie’s bucket list and after completing  the specialist programs for this part of the world she had the opportunity to experience them first hand when she visited the islands of Tahiti and Australia. She also fulfilled a dream of diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Lorie has also travel extensively throughout North America,  the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe and Britain. She also loves the fun that goes along with vacations at Disney and also the joys of cruising. She is always looking for the next place to add to her list.

Besides working with long time and new clients on a daily basis to create a memorable holidays Lorie has organized group vacations for many families, sport groups and community organizations. She loves working with large groups, meeting with them and bringing everything together. 

For many years now she has been known for “Destination Weddings”. She is a specialist in this area. Lorie enjoys meeting with the Bride and Groom to assist in rules and regulations for getting married outside of Canada as well as help determine the destination and property. She helps to eliminate the stresses that accompany planning a wedding and dealing with guests. This is her forte and she enjoys every minute of it.
