Day 1 – Sat. July 4 – Overnight Flight to Oslo (Inflight Meals) 


We have selected pick up points for you to meet our tour. We will transfer to Pearson International via deluxe highway motor coach where we will board our overnight flight to Copenhagen for our connecting flight for Oslo, Norway. 

Day 2 – Sun. July 5 – Arrival in Oslo, Norway 

Upon arrival into Oslo, we will transfer by coach to our centrally located hotel in downtown Oslo. This evening we meet our English speaking tour guide who is with us for the duration of the tour for an orientation and tour overview. 

Day 3 – Mon. July 6 – Overview and Free Time in Oslo (B) 
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. This morning we enjoy a city tour of Oslo with a local guide, who will show us the highlights of this beautiful harbour front city. You will be amazed by the beauty of this city. Our tour will end at Bygdoy Peninsula home to some of the country’s most interesting museums. We have included admission to the Viking Ship Museum hosting the world’s best preserved Viking ships. Late afternoon and evening is at leisure. You may join an optional tour or stroll along the pedestrian friendly Karl Johan Street or enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants overlooking the harbour. 
Day 4 – Tue. July 7 – Oslo to Lillehammar (B) 
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Our first stop today is Lillehammer, where the 1994 winter Olympics took place. We will visit the Ice Skating rink as well as the Olympic park where you can ride the ski lift up to the top of the ramp where jumpers begin their flight. The view from the top is spectacular. Enjoy the evening in Lillehammar and take advantage of dining with locals (on your own). 
Day 5 – Wed. July 8 – Stave Church, Geiranger Fjord & Loen (B, D) 
Northbound, we continue through the fertile farmland of Gudbrands Valley. In Lom we stop to see the amazing wooden stave church dating back to the 12th century. Our route continues via Grotli to Loen. A photo-stop is made before descending the hairpin curves to the UNESCO-listed Geiranger Fjord and enjoy a ferry ride passing the impressive waterfalls ”the Bridal Veil” and “the Seven Sisters”. The fjord and the surrounding mountains offer a picturesque and unique backdrop to your stay. We spend two nights in Loen at the Alexandra Resort which offers a beautiful setting and wonderful amenities. Dinner at the hotel. 
Day 6 – Thu. July 9 – Briksdal Troll Cars & Free Time (B, D)
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. This morning we continue to Briksdal Glacier. The last part of our journey up to the glacier will be in the motorized open Troll Cars, allowing you to enjoy the full panoramic view. After the glacier experience, sit back in the coach and enjoy the views of mountains and fjords as we return to Loen to enjoy the amenities of this beautiful resort. If you prefer to keep a little busier, you can ride up the Loen Skylift (optional) to enjoy the spectacular views from the top. Another incredible buffet dinner at the hotel this evening.

Day 7 – Fri. July 10 – Sogne Fjord, Flam Railway, Bergen (B, D)


Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Today enjoy your drive along one of the prettiest roads in Norway in terms of scenery. We travel up mountain roads through the village of Skei situated on Lake Jølcontinue driving through the glacier sculpted landscapes of Fjærdal and Sogndalsfjøra areas until crossing the majestic Sognefjord by ferry and continuing the picturesque drive to Flåm. In Flåm we continue our journey with one of the most exceptional rail road trips in the world, the Flam Railway. With breath-taking views at every curve it will take you up to the mountain station of Myrdal, where you will connect to your train to Bergen. While we’re riding the train, our coach will take our luggage to our hotel and will be awaiting our arrival to take us to our Bergen hotel. Dinner tonight is included this evening. 

Day 8 – Sat. July 11 – A Day in Bergen (B)
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. We start our day with an admission on the Floibanen Funicular Train where we ride to the top to Mount Floyen where you will have ample time to enjoy the outstanding views of Bergen below. We then enjoy a short walking orientation tour of Bergen, taking us to the famous open air fish market, stroll across to Bryggen where the traditional wooden medieval buildings still remain as in the times of the Hanseatic League. The balance of the day is at leisure for shopping, experiencing the old fish market, having lunch and soaking up the atmosphere of Bergen. Optional tours are available from the hotel. 
Day 9 – Sun. July 12 – Hardanger, Voringfoss Waterfall & Geilo (B, D)
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. This morning we continue towards the Hardanger Fjord with its romantic landscape of fruit orchards and rounded mountains. We make a stop at the very impressive Vøringsfoss waterfall with a vertical drop of 180 meters, before ascending the Hardanger Mountain Plateau and reaching the Geilo area. Tonight we enjoy a special dinner and overnight at Dr. Holms Hotel. 
Day 10 – Mon. July 13 – Oslo, Cruising to Copenhagen (B, D)
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Today we return to Oslo where this afternoon we will embark on the DFDS Seaways overnight cruise to Copenhagen. From the deck or one of the cafés or bars on board, you can enjoy the view heading out through the Oslo Fjord. A famous Scandinavian Smorgåsbord buffet awaits you on board for dinner this evening. Overnight in sea-view cabins. 
Day 11 – Tue. July 14 – Arriving in Copenhagen (B)
Breakfast buffet on-board as you sail into Copenhagen. Upon arrival in Copenhagen we meet our local guide showing you some of the highlights of Copenhagen; the little Mermaid, the Gefion fountain, the royal residence Amalienborg Palace, Christianshavn and Nyhavn with its charming canals. After lunch (on your own) enjoy the Stromma canal cruise before checking into our hotel. Overnight in Copenhagen. 
Day 12 – Wed. July 15 – Copenhagen at Leisure (B)
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Make the most of your free day to explore Copenhagen at your own pace. Each guest will receive an admission ticket to Tivoli – a family destination featuring beautiful gardens and many cafés and restaurants. Optional tours can be booked through the hotel. 
Day 13 – Thu. July 16 – Copenhagen, Home (B, Inflight meals)
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Today we return to Canada with wonderful memories of Scandinavia. Upon our arrival at Pearson International, our coach will be waiting to return us to our home towns.
