Acclaimed Food Network celebrity chef and bestselling author, Chef Lynn Crawford has over 25 years of culinary experience, including many years as executive chef for the Four Seasons Hotels in Toronto and New York. One of the highest profile chefs in the country and a genuine household name, she is continually sought after as a dynamic host, public speaking, brand ambassador, spokesperson and mentor.

Transfer to the former Roman town of Tarascon, where you’ll be welcomed aboard your luxurious Scenic Space-Ship. Tonight you can look forward to a rousing welcome reception where your acclaimed hosts Lynn Crawford & Tommy Smythe will be introduced.

Day 2 – Tarascon > Avignon
Tarascon has a distinctly medieval character and impressive castle.
Freechoice: Visit Les Baux, and drop into a local olive farm. Alternatively, visit the Arles Arena on your tour of this once thriving Roman city or choose to join Tommy Smythe on a tour of Isle sur la Sorgue, or perhaps stay on board for a painting class.

Day 3 – Avignon
Freechoice: Shop with the Scenic chef at the local market before cooking up a storm in Scenic Culinaire, or explore Avignon’s architectural wonder, the Pope’s Palace. Alternatively, take an excursion to Pont du Gard, the impressive Roman aqueduct, or sample the celebrated wines of Chateauneuf-du-Pape at Cotes du Rhone vineyard.
This afternoon take some time to explore on your own.
Enrich: After the doors close to the general public at Avignon’s prestigious Palais des Papes, join Lynn Crawford & Tommy Smythe for an exclusive concert inside this elegant 14th century palace.

Day 4 – Viviers > Vienne
Freechoice: This morning enjoy a walking tour of the ancient town of Viviers, nestled between hill and river, and visit the imposing Cathedral, or explore the beautiful provincial town of Grignan.
While cruising to Vienne this afternoon, perhaps join a class in Scenic Culinaire and allow your on board Scenic chef to sharpen your skills in French cookery. Learn how to make a delicious regional dish and of course enjoy a mouth watering taste afterwards.

Freechoice: Take a walking tour of Vienne including a visit to the Roman amphitheatre and uncover the fascinating history of this quaint riverside town, once conquered by Julius Caesar. Back on board, perhaps take a masterclass in French cuisine in Scenic Culinaire, or simply relax and view the beautiful vistas as you cruise to Macon.

Day 7 – Lyon
Set on the confluence of the Rhone and Saone rivers, Lyon is renowned as the gastronomic heart of France.

Alternatively, walk the cobblestone paths in the medieval hilltop town of Perouges, or join a guided bike ride to Lyon’s Botanical Gardens and Zoo or choose to join Tommy Smythe at the Museum of Fabrics and Decorative Arts.
