In addition to a few staff members, Erin and Sheila Kemp were also in attendance to receive an award for their continued support in the community. This was a very successful event and we are very proud of the contributions made towards making our community a better place to live. Most noteworthy, the Kemp Family has also recently pledged two million dollars towards the expansion of the Bowmanville Hospital – the largest gift of it’s kind in foundation history. On Friday, September 28, over 330 guests came together for the 2018 Midsummer Night’s Dream Gala. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, donors and guests, the Foundation raised an incredible $363,184 gross in proceeds for the redevelopment and expansion of Bowmanville Hospital – our most successful in 32 years of our Gala’s history! We are grateful for all who attended and those who supported the “Buy A Bed” Fundraiser. Thanks to their generosity, Bowmanville Hospital will receive 25 new hospital beds, at a cost of $5,000 each.
