DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
Day 1 – May 3, 2026 | Depart for Cape Town
Board our flight to Cape Town this evening with a connection through Europe. Flight times to be determined closer to departure.
Day 2 – May 4, 2026 | Cape Town
Arrive in Cape Town in the evening and check into the Portswood Hotel where we will spend the next five nights!
Day 3 – May 5, 2026 | Cape Town (B, D)
Enjoy a private half-day city tour of Cape Town to get acquainted with your surroundings and see some of the highlights. This tour will finish with an included cable car ride up Table Mountain for sweeping views of the city. We’ll enjoy a group dinner this evening!
Day 4 – May 6, 2026 | Cape Town (B)
Today we’ll enjoy a full day Private Tour of the Cape Peninsula. Drive along Chapman’s Peak scenic route through trendy resort and fishing towns before arriving at the Cape of Good Hope. On the way back stop at Boulders Beach to mingle with penguins!
Day 5 – May 7, 2026 | Cape Town (B)
Enjoy a full day tour of the Cape Winelands region, visiting the historical city of Stellenbosch, touring wine estates with expert guides, and indulging in a variety of tastings and pairings.
Day 6 – May 8, 2026 | Cape Town (B)
Enjoy a free Day in Cape Town today. Take the ferry to Robben Island or check out one of the cities many cultural/historical museums!
Day 7 – May 9, 2026 | Cape Town to Mpumalanga (B, D)
This morning, you will fly to the Kruger National Park area. When you arrive, you will be transferred to Kruger National Park for an afternoon safari drive. Tonight we will stay at Muluwa Lodge in tents. Enjoy a group dinner at the lodge this evening!
Day 8 – May 10, 2026 | Mpumalanga to Karongwe Private Game Reserve (B, L, D)
This morning, we’ll make our way to Chisomo Lodge along the scenic Panorama Route highlighting Blyde River Canyon, Gods Window & more. Upon arrival at Karongwe Private Game Reserve, we’ll depart for an afternoon game drive after checking into our tented camp.
Day 9 – May 11, 2026 | Karongwe Private Game Reserve (B, L, D)
Spend the day exploring Karongwe on morning and afternoon safaris with our local guides. Search for Africa’s famed “big five” as we drive through the shrublands of the bushveld. All meals are included while at the lodge!
Day 10 – May 12, 2026 | Karongwe Private Game Reserve (B, L, D)
Today we’ll enjoy morning and late afternoon game drives. Back at camp, relax on deck or take a walk around the grounds.
Day 11 – May 13, 2026 | Karongwe Private Game Reserve to Johannesburg (B, D)
This morning we’ll fly to Johannesburg for one night. We’ll check in to the Protea Hotel by Marriott before departing on a guided tour of the local area. This evening we’ll enjoy a group dinner at the hotel!
Day 12 – May 14, 2026 | Johannesburg to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe (B, D)
This morning, you will fly from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls. When you arrive in Victoria Falls, you will be transported to the Explorers lodge where we will stay the next three nights. This evening, we will enjoy an included dinner as a group at a local restaurant!
Day 13 – May 15, 2026 | Victoria Falls (B)
This morning we’ll enjoy a morning tour of Victoria Falls. In the evening, embark on a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River.
Day 14 – May 16, 2026 | Victoria Falls (B)
Today, we’ll have a free day to relax before making the long journey home. Hang by the pool or opt to take a helicopter ride over the falls!
Day 15 – May 17, 2026 | Depart Victoria Falls (B)
Today we will head for the airport and board our flight to Johannesburg. From Johannesburg we’ll depart for home on an overnight flight.
Day 16 – May 18, 2026 | Arrive in Toronto
Today we will arrive in Toronto and bid farewell to one another! Exact flight times will be determined closer to departure. If you require assistance in booking transfers from the airport, please speak with your Kemp Travel Agent.
