Madeleine, a CPA, recently transitioned into the travel industry after spending many years in the corporate world. Her primary motivation for this career change was to engage with people, providing them the chance to experience the healing and transformative power of interacting with different cultures and embracing natural beauty while enjoying the company of like-minded travelers.

Madeleine embarked on her first overseas trip at the age of 15, accompanying her mom on a visit to her family in Holland. Since then, she has traveled to 33 countries across 4 continents, and her first trip to Africa is planned for 2024.

Madeleine’s favourite way to travel is by bike, with hiking coming in a close second. So far, France and Vietnam lead the list of preferred cycle destinations, and Yukon and Patagonia are hiking destinations that warrant return trips. Cross-country skiing is always an option too – especially in BC!

She looks forward to organizing and leading active trips for small groups, particularly cycling and hiking excursions to new and exciting destinations.
