Erin and Sheila Kemp were there to receive an award for their continued support in the community. Eric and Anche from the Kemp Travel team were also in attendance to support the cause. This was a very successful event and we are very proud of the contributions made towards making our community a better place to live. Kemp Travel continues to support the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation with a number of initiatives. On Friday, October 25, 2019, nearly 500 guests came together for the 2019 Venetian Masquerade Ball. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, donors and guests, the Foundation raised an incredible $439,728 in gross revenue for the redevelopment and expansion of Bowmanville Hospital. The most successful in 33 years of our Gala’s history! We are grateful for all who attended and those who supported the “Breath of Life” Fundraiser. Thanks to their generosity, Bowmanville Hospital will receive three new permanent ventilators, at a total cost of $106,000 and three new portable ventilators, at a total cost of $55,500. To top the evening off, the Halminen Family Foundation and Lakeside Self Storage announced a phenomenal $2-million-and-1-dollar pledge to the redevelopment and expansion of Bowmanville Hospital!
